Last dog days of summer

I’m savoring my last days at home while trying to:

·         Pack up my worldly belongings

·         Remember the Japanese I forgot

·         Get my hands on some campy sci-fi (I can’t believe no one in town has MST)

·         Learn how to use this newly-formed blog

But most importantly, I have my passport and my ticket and no idea what to expect.  I can’t wait to get to Japan and be surprised.  Very surprised.
